Call for Papers
We invite contributions that advance AI for Science across scientific disciplines, with a focus on scientific workbenches: integrated systems of models, tools, data, experimental interfaces, orchestration mechanisms, and evaluators that support iterative scientific discovery.
The workshop welcomes current research and forward-looking discussion through two tracks.
(A) Original Research Track
We invite original studies using AI to tackle problems across scientific disciplines. Contributions may address any of the workshop’s main themes:
- Loop Engineering: Designing, optimizing, and strengthening repeated cycles of hypothesis generation, action or experimentation, observation, feedback, and revision.
- Harnesses & Orchestration: Composing models, scientific tools, data sources, and computational resources into executable workflows.
- Interactive Benchmarks & Evaluation: Evaluating scientific systems over sequences of decisions, analyses, and experiments.
- Scientific Environments: Building computational and physical environments that enable scientific interaction and feedback.
(B) Position Track
We invite perspectives on current progress, open questions, and concerns in AI scientists research. Contributions may discuss principles for scientific workbenches, challenges in scientific interaction and orchestration, evaluation of iterative discovery, and connections between AI systems and experimental science.
Submission Instructions
- Length: 4-8 pages of main text, with unlimited space for appendices.
- Format: ICLR style. The workshop style-file link and final formatting details will be announced.
- Anonymity: Submissions must be anonymized for double-blind review.
